In 1974 our co-owner and founder Robert Howard, then V.P. of Weber & Sons Button Co. worked
with W.J. "Wib" Meyer, then purchasing manager of DeMoulin Company in Greenville, Il. and Louis Eisen President
of National Die & Button Mould of New Jersey, to develop the metal uniform button line Heartland Trim, Inc. offers
today.
Over the years many of Bobs other Industry friends like Gary Roberts President of Stanbury Uniform
of Brookfield, Mo. continued to work with him to further enhance our product such as soldered backs for those more heavy duty
applications along with double lacquering and all solid brass construction for unequalled rust prevention.
In 1986
Heartland Trim, Inc. was established and added many other items to its product line including embroidered emblems, which they
sold to OshKosh B'Gosh by the millions along with Girl Scout troops nationwide. In 2006 Bob left Weber & Sons Button to
further expand Heartland Trim and better serve the Band Uniform Industry.
In 2008, Heartland introduced
their exclusive "1001 Rhinestone Rivoli" button for both Marching Bands and the Drum and Bugle Corps.. This button
was a big success because it was the first and only Rhinestone button with heavy duty metal construction and fitted with soldered
wire blazer loops for conventional ring & washer attachment. This was and is an Industry innovative first!
In
2009, Heartland created and offered another exclusive, "Magic Collar", which is a two ply or three ply felt mylar
product which allows manufacturers to offer a uniquely comfortable and solid uniform coat collar at a significant cost savings
to them and their customers. The final product gives end users the finest stand up band uniform coat collar in the market
today, at a cost equal to or in most instances less than the individual components put together at the factory.
Today
Heartland Trim offers many products for both uniform and garment production along with screenprint and embroidery shops. With
the addition of Fasnap in 2016 and Stimpson in 2019 our available product line has increased substantially and has components
for all types of textile production and repair. Please take a few minutes and review our website to see what we have to offer,
